Meanwhile.

It’s been a while.

About a month ago, the guys over at YCN studio asked me to do some spot illustrations for the Green Man Festival programme, and here is how it ended up looking. I feel pretty chuffed to have my scratchy drawings sat amongst Sarah Mazzetti's beautiful illustrations, and the extra perk of heading off to the stunning Brecon Beacons in Wales for great music and good food was not half bad either.

Quick Fictions is a Brighton based literary initiative, which brings together a great variety of storytelling through flash fiction. For the Brighton Digital Festival they’ll be showing a series of films and animations visualising some of the stories. Here’s my mini contribution to it. Go check it out if you’re around!

Got a bunch of film developed recently. Here are some highlights.

New sketchbook scans.
It’s good to look back and see terrible ideas and the forgotten good ones, but I’ve been a bit slack with this one with shows and graduation.

I’ve also realised I draw a lot of trees. A lot.

Some old sketchbook updates.

I forgot to take a decent photo of my space at Car Park Show! But here is a photo of my parents standing in front of it looking bemused. The lead up to, and the show itself is amongst the proudest things I’ve done with my meagre 23 years. Thank you to everyone and anyone who helped in any small or large way.

Hey, look what Sack Bag’s been up to! My classmates and I have been busy preparing for our degree show in a disused car park in Fulham, London and we’d like to invite you to come join us there, see our work, have a drink at our cafe and bar, mooch and enjoy our shop and library. This is a celebration of the end of our 3 years of education, and we want to share it with you!

Our private view will be held on the Friday 5th July, and the exhibition will continue onto the 9th.

In addition to the show itself, we will also be hosting two evening events. A Crowd Talks disucussion on the relevance of degree shows on the 7th, and finally finishing it all off with a night of music on the 9th. More details can be found at carparkshow.com where you can have a browse at all our graduates too.

Our twitter is the place to be for the most up-to-date updates. See ya there!

The first 3 pages of a short comic I did, that forms a part of my show.
